Welcome to my Home Business web site, I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to read what I have to say, I promise not to waste your time with hype, misleading information & empty promises.

You can read my previous rant here: Jim Ranting and don't forget to check out my Blog before you go.

I have been earning a living online since 2000 and I couldn't imaging doing anything else. I create multiple income streams for my business with Network Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Direct Selling and owning my own Membership Sites.

I have learned this business from some of the True Icons in Network Marketing and the best Marketers in the world. I have created wonderful relationships, built a strong reputation and of course enjoy the lifestyle that only working for yourself can provide.

This site is "Home Base" for my business, it showcases my primary income streams, they may be businesses that you want to get involved with, I of course think you will, but everything is not for everyone and you really should only join home business opportunities that you feel are right for you, not because of any sales copy, hype, promises of riches, spillover or whatever people like to claim they are going to do for you.

The decision to sign up for any business, has to be based on the facts and your own personal feeling about the business, if you do not feel strongly about the business, for whatever reason, the compensation plan the product or service, the long term grown and stability of the company, then you will not be able to convince anyone to sign up with you. Sales in anything, including network marketing is having another person take on your belief. If your belief in the opportunity is strong enough, then you will be able to convince many others to take on your belief in that opportunity. If you just signed up because of an eMail you got from a successful person who hyped you into signing up, then after a week or two when the excitement wears off, you won't actually have a strong belief in the opportunity since you joined for the wrong reason and you won't have any success.

Success or failure in your business depends on you, when I say your business, I don't mean a particular business opportunity, I mean your business overall, you may not make any money in a particular income opportunity, but your business as a whole should be making money and again, that all comes down to you.

A recommendation from someone you trust who is successful is invaluable when making a decision, but you also need to go on your own fact finding mission, make sure the compensation plan really is as good as people claim it to be, I could twist and turn the description of any compensation plan and make it sound good and the potential of most is always impressive, but is the plan really any good or more importantly, really any good for you. A compensation plan that is appealing to someone that knows they can sign up a bunch of people, reach all the qualifications and levels, may not be ideal for you if you are only going to sign up 5 new members.

I could go on and on about compensation plans and the fact that most are really bad for 95% of the people that join them. They have too many qualifications, too many bonuses, too many "IFs", and most of the time, they simply do not pay out enough.

The main problem in the Network Marketing industry is not all the reasons most hot shots are teaching, they create these false beliefs so that they can then sell you a product or service that claims to fix what they say the problem is. Not having a big enough list, not having the right mind-set, not having sales skills, not having enough money, not having enough time, not having a system, not having the right sponsor, not having a mentor, members leave too fast, not joining with a good group, following all the wrong people, joining too many things, not knowing how to market.

That's a big list and that's not even considering all of the issues that companies cause us with bad management, bad decisions, bad support, etc.

It all plays a part, all of those issues contribute to your success or failure, however, the real reason why most people fail in the Network Marketing industry is BAD COMPENSATION PLANS. Plain and simple, you just don't earn enough for your efforts. You are not paid enough per person. You have to jump through too many hoops to earn any real money. Too much money is earmarked for bonuses and extras, that most people will never qualify for, so the very few make most of the income in any one company and the rest are just along for the ride, making those few and the company rich.

The "gurus" don't tell you this because they can't sell you a product that fixes the problem and it really doesn't help get sign ups for whatever business they may be working.

The problem is that the Professional Network Marketers continue to join and promote companies that have bad compensation plans. So, if you were a company or starting a company, you would have no reason to create a compensation plan that was any better than the others, since we have all accepted the fact that pay plans are bad and that's the way it is.

Of course we all like to spin the pay plan description in such a way that makes it sound good, the company does it, those that sign up with that company do it and it makes everyone feel better about it.

With all of the competition now a days, with the availability of information, the sheer amount of opportunities that we have to pick from, I can't understand why people seem to not be able to admit to the fact that this business, like any other business, is about Money, we do it to make money and yet, we seem to want to pretend that money is at the bottom of the list of why we do Network Marketing. There aren't many businesses that do that, maybe the health care industry, maybe politicians, maybe colleges, I'm sure there are others, but it's really very few that feel the need to pretend that it's not about the money. I've never done it and I decided years ago that I was sick of the horrible pay plans and just wouldn't play with those companies, it's easy, I don't join so called income opportunities that have bad compensation plans unless unless they had something that I really wanted and then I just said, I think this product or service is wonderful and that is why I signed up.

If you don't understand compensation plans, learn them, ask someone, study them, figure out just what you have to do in order to earn the amount of money that you need, not the dream income, the need income. Take into account what others will also have to do in order for you to achieve that goal, don't forget about qualifications, figure out the percent per person that is being paid out overall by the company and the percent you will get for each person on each level in your downline.

If you need too many people, that's not good. If the company is paying out less than 60%, then the product better really make you feel good. If there are just too many qualifications, group volumes, personal sponsoring qualifications that you know are too high, if too much money is put towards bonuses, matching bonuses or hot shot bonuses for those that reach amazing qualification levels, then that's too much money taken away from the main part of the pay plan that most people will never get since most people will earn the income that's built into the main part of the pay plan, not all of the "extras".

If you need to have 4 gold members, 3 bronze, 2 silver and 1 elite president global master in your downline, but not all in one leg and not all within the ages of 20 & 60 and they must be from at least 5 different countries, then you know you are going to have trouble making any money because you are fighting a losing battle against the company, whose supposed to be your biggest asset but in many cases is your worst enemy.

Just keep in mind, the #1 reason people fail in this industry is bad pay plans, they don't make enough money to cover the monthly fee or their marketing or just to keep them interested, for the amount of money, time and effort they are spending. Hey, if you aren't doing anything, then you get what you deserve, but if you are working and have a growing organization then you should be compensated accordingly.

Now for the good stuff.

I currently promote and recommend businesses, products and services that will help you build your business, these are generic marketing services, training, social networks, etc. You can find those that I recommend on the side bar.

I am also serious about FantaZ and Wela - SlimberryPro, those are my primary businesses and they really are the best I have found for me, they may or my not be for you, but they are certainly worth checking out.
